Antiques Roadshow Afternoon Tea

Format

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND

John Coulter, an experienced and knowledgeable collector who has recently opened “The Hill Bridge” Antiques and Interiors showroom in Comber, will host an “Antiques Roadshow” style event in the Club.

Before deciding to become a dealer in his spare time earlier this year, John had been collecting for more than 30 years, with a keen interest in Georgian furniture, fine art, Irish antiques generally and early English porcelain.

Building on the success of a similar event earlier this year, the format will involve John appraising a pre-selected list of up to 25 items in advance, so we are asking you to email us now with details and photograph of an antique treasure that you would like to find out more about.

Where did it come from? Who made it? What was it used for? Every piece tells a story, and we anticipate that this will be an enjoyable and informative part of the afternoon, lasting for about an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes.

Following that we will have a delicious afternoon tea prepared by our Chefs.
