    Annual Seafood Buffet

    Format

    We are pleased to advise of this annual event, which will be held in the Dining Room, in addition to our regular daily menu.

    This will comprise a magnificent chilled selection of locally sourced seafood

    Cocktails in the City

    Format

    Cocktails & Nibbles served: 4pm through 6.30pm, Last order for drinks circa 7pm

    £12 per person, to include one choice from three cocktails plus nibbles

    Why not end the week in style with a specially mixed cocktail in the Members’ Bar and take advantage of the afternoon sunshine (optimism!) on our flower-filled veranda?

    An array of cocktails and interesting nibbles will be available to Members and their guests from 4pm. Alternatively, if a G&T is more your thing then feel free to simply call in for a drink, as full bar service will also be available.

    The dress code for this event will be relaxed to smart casual from 4pm and the bar will remain open until 7pm.

    Shortcross Gin Evening

    Shortcross Cocktail Reception 7pm in the Old Billiard Room

    Welcome, introduction & tasting of Shortcross Gin commences at 7.30pm sharp

    £40 per person to include Tapas, Dessert, Cheese platter and Shortcross Tasting.

    Join us for a sensory voyage through the history and heritage of Shortcross Gin.

    You will be taken through the small but perfectly crafted
    distillation process, then bask in a botanical journey and enjoy a tutored tasting
    experience, engaging all your senses.

    The evening will include a Shortcross tasting and small
    plates paired with bespoke Shortcross cocktails & perfect serves, inspired
    by Rademon Estate.

    Annual Golf Competition- The Stirling Cup - Belvoir Park Golf Club

    Format

    The Tee has been booked from 10.30am to 11.30am for 30 players. Playing will be in a fourball or threeball format. Scoring will be Stableford playing off full handicaps.

    Dinner will be served at 5.00pm after which the Stirling Cup and the visitors’ prize will be presented by the Club President, Andy Wells.

    The cost per person for golf and dinner will be £65 per person, apart from BPGC Members for which the cost of dinner will be £30. The fees will be collected on the day by Michael Copeland and Alan Moneypenny.

    Further Information

    Ulster Reform Club Members may compete for the Stirling Cup, first presented to the Club on St. Patrick’s Day 1925 by JH Stirling, and played for annually ever since.

    This is an excellent opportunity for Club Members to entertain guests in fourballs or simply to come along and play with other Members.

    10th Anniversary of Culture Night

    Format

    As Belfast’s Culture Night explodes on our doorstep, on this, its 10th anniversary, the House, Sports & Social Committee has decided to open informally for Members and guests to step away from the maelstrom and enjoy the oasis that is our Club.

    Format:

    2 choice fork buffet with a glass of Club wine; food offer available 6-8pm

    Guest Speaker Luncheon -with former Ulster and Ireland Rugby Wing Mr Andrew Trimble

    Format

    Members and guests sit down for luncheon at 1.00pm, followed, at approximately 2.10pm, by Andrew Trimble and our Past President Jim Neilly.

    £27.50 per person

    ‘by ticket only’

    A ballot will be held in favour of Mr Trimble’s nominated charity.
