ULSTER REFORM CLUB

Established 1885

Ulster Reform Club Arts Society - Meet the Authors

A detective tackling murders and a story about a woman seeking where she came from and both set in Northern Ireland. We are delighted to welcome two local writers to the Reform Club to talk about their journeys into writing; what inspires, interests and fuels their imagination while creating plots and developing characters.

Christina Wilkinson had a previous career in the Health Service but always wanted to write. She is now an author of contemporary fiction and her debut book Sailfish and Elephants has been very successful, exploring the complexities of relationships between two childhood friends and what happens when you uncover family secrets.

Linda Hagan had a previous career in education, but is now an established author of local crime fiction. She is the creator of the Gawn Girvan novels, starting with The Perfume Killer, a gripping novel with a woman detective who won't take no for an answer.

The talks will start at 11.00, with an opportunity for questions afterwards, followed by lunch.

Please let the Club know if you would like to come along and if you will be staying for lunch.
