This June marks the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings in Normandy in June 1944. Our guest speaker Dr John McManus will take us across the globe from the beaches of Normandy, to Saipan in the Pacific and show us what the USA was capable of in the most momentous month of the Second World War.
