Senior Team

Lorna McCrudden

General Manager

Lorna joined the team in 2000 as Accounts Manager.

Subsequent to the retirement of the Chief Executive, Lorna stepped up to the role of General Manager in 2019, and has overall responsibility for all Club affairs and acts as administrator to the wide range of Club Committees.

Lorna has a degree in Hospitality Management, and has worked in the hospitality industry for many years; she also has a professional qualification in management accountancy, which has led her to this varied role in the Club.

Deborah Galloway

Deputy General Manager

Deborah joined the team in November 2020.

Deborah has worked in hospitality for 30 years – both in hotels and other facilities such as Titanic Belfast where she was responsible for the C&B Operations. More recently she was part of the opening team for the new Hastings Grand Central Hotel and has vast customer service and hospitality experience.

Deborah will oversee all Club Events and deputise for Lorna in her absence.

Robert Fulton

Head Chef


Robert has worked in the catering industry for 30+ years, including O’Hara’s Royal Hotel, Crawfordsburn Inn and Marine Court Hotel. He has been with the Club since 2004, promoted to Head Chef in 2012.

He has won 2 gold medals; Belfast 1994 Salon Culinaire and, in Galway in 1996, the West of Ireland International

Christina Johnston

Membership Relations Manager

Christina joined the Club in 2008 on a part time basis as cashier/administration assistant and over the years her role has developed to the full time role of Membership Relations Manager. She is generally the first point of contact for Members, Reciprocal Members and guests and she will always do her best to resolve any Club related queries.

Christina’s background has always been in customer service, predominantly in hospitality management and she has a genuine commitment to ensuring that all Club users are welcomed and enjoy the best possible experience.
